The polished conversation softens. Someone admits what they actually think. A look lasts a little longer than it should. Dinner becomes another drink, another hour, and eventually the rest of the world feels very far away. That is the kind of intimacy I enjoy. I’m a business owner, poet, lifelong reader, and relentlessly curious person. Psychology, attraction, ambition, art, business, human behavior, manga, poetry and whatever obscure subject you know entirely too much about can all keep me happily occupied. Bukowski shares shelf space with manga at my place, which probably tells you more about me than a list of adjectives ever could. I’m feminine, affectionate, sensual, playful, and very attentive. I remember small details. I notice changes in your mood. I ask questions because I actually want to know the answer. There is elegance in my world, but very little pretense. I love beautiful restaurants, excellent hotels, dressing for an occasion, disappearing for a weekend, and the particular pleasure of having nowhere else we need to be. I’m just as capable of laughing until I ruin my lipstick, ordering room service barefoot, or becoming considerably less well behaved once the door closes. Chemistry matters to me, which is also why I’m selective. I choose to spend my time with gentlemen who are respectful, discreet, generous in spirit, and comfortable treating a woman well. Accomplishment is attractive. Intelligence is attractive. Kindness and good manners are non-negotiable. I don’t need you to impress me. I’d much rather meet the version of you who doesn’t have to. I rarely accommodate true last-minute requests in California. I prefer having enough time to anticipate our plans, prepare properly, and arrive completely present rather than rushed.
