Like many New York natives, I crave moments of connection that ground me amidst the chaos. I'm happiest after a stolen sip of your coffee on a tranquil balcony, a flirtatious debate about your take on techno-optimism, or that moment I sense your pulse racing after I "accidentally" let the slit of my skirt slip scandalously high. (You don't mind a little tease, do you?) In my free time, my hopeless curiosity propels me through life. I love understanding how things work, whether it's deconstructing a vintage Leica lens, researching how Vipassana impacts longevity markers, or unraveling the formula for leaving each other breathless. I’ve read enough about stoicism to quote it convincingly and not nearly enough to actually practice it. I hold a Master’s degree, am well-traveled, and can’t parallel park to save my life. (I've been told humility is important). I travel the way I read: off the beaten path and a little deeper than most people want to go. They say magic is focused attention made manifest. I've spent years cultivating that kind of attention through meditation, and I've come to believe true attention is the most seductive thing you can share with another. If I'm curious about something, I'm all in, three books deep, asking too many questions. People are no different. I've always been driven by the pursuit of pleasure, knowledge, and, if we're quoting Hegel here, true freedom: being at home with oneself in the other. I seek connections built on both. Much like you, I value privacy and financial sovereignty, and I harbor a healthy degree of skepticism towards people who seem too good to be true. I'm happy to cozy up in our hotel room and transform it into our own little world, even on longer dates. Creating containers for connection, and true intimacy, fills me with genuine joy. I live for the moments of just you and me, fully present in the moment, while we discover each other.
