Being Blair started the way the best things do — without a plan. Created one random day in the third quarter of my spontaneous gap year from college, it confirmed what was always in me: a lust for life. In my gap year, I've had the privilege to pursue one of my passions at the professional level. I won't say which sport it is, but it is an artistic one. I also have what others consider an impressive amount of professional experience, but for once, I wanted to let go of all the expectations others had for me. And it's been fruitful to say the least. I enjoy getting to know interesting people. I mean, what did I expect? I've been making projects and reading Paul Graham's essays from a young age. Maybe that's telling of the type of men I'm into. It's been pointed out to me that I think black and white; all or nothing. It has a negative reputation, but I would say it's what led me to pursue everything at a high level. Except now that I'm more situationally aware :P, I use it when it's advantageous. As for college, I don't care much for the "college experience."
