Well hello, darling. So glad we’ve met. Whatever twist of kismet brought you here, I’m rather glad it did. ;) A bit about me... brevity is not my strong suit, but try I shall. I’m a tirelessly ambitious big-city gal who eventually moseyed down south in search of something slower, softer, and a little more laid-back, trading “yous guys” for “y’all.” In me you’ll encounter the Sandra Bullock-style girl-next-door — friendly in a hot sort of way, hot in a friendly sort of way (or so I’m told!) — paired with a STEM graduate degree, an insatiable curiosity, and just a hint of mischief. Perhaps reminiscent of that hot TA with the crazy curly hair, quick smile and cute butt you always had a bit of a crush on but never got the courage to ask out. And trust me, my curves are so dangerous they give Formula One drivers a run for their money. By day, I’m an academic/professional student, and I genuinely savor the privilege of nurturing young minds. I’ve always enjoyed the sense of accomplishment that comes with a career I care about, but somewhere along the way I began wondering why something still felt missing. I desired more than achievement. I craved balance, connection, spontaneity, and those unexpected moments of serendipity that make you feel wonderfully, deliciously alive. And somehow, that search led me here. I love the spark of discovering someone new — the meeting of minds as much as the meeting of two people. There’s something intoxicating about the gradual unfolding of a connection: warmth, curiosity, laughter, chemistry, anticipation, and the thrill of not quite knowing where the evening might take us. A little friend, a little lover, a little muse. Perhaps all three. I’m an empath and lifelong learner with a voracious appetite for reading, so I’m naturally fascinated by people and what makes them tick. I adore languid conversation and will happily wander down whatever intellectual rabbit hole catches our attention. Tell me about your passions, peculiarities, and obsessions. I promise to be genuinely fascinated — and there’s a very good chance I’ll ask entirely too many questions. A few of my favorite things in no particular order: - A fresh vase of peonies - Milk chocolate - Crisp, fresh sheets - The golden hour of the day during which the light seems otherworldly beautiful - A good hair day when my curls decide to behave and the volume makes me feel like a lion-maned goddess - Lifting weights and the delicious but torturous soreness that occurs in the days after a hard workout - Freshly ground and brewed espresso; nothing like grinding it yourself and enjoying a cup as the scent of freshly brewed beans floods the house - Stinky cheese; the older the better! - Learning not-oft used words and dropping them into a convo the moment an opportunity presents itself - YouTube rabbit holes that leave you wondering how you went from one subject to another that are worlds apart - Boxing, though Mike Tyson I am decidedly not - Reading 3-4 novels simultaneously without finishing any of them - A warm bowl of spicy ramen or pho; perpetually on the lookout for the best place so recommendations highly welcomed - Subtle glints and glimmers of gold jewelry when the light hits it just right; it’s rare you will find me without something sparkly or shiny on - Gardening, particularly my ongoing campaign to produce a respectable tomato harvest - Getting lost in the joy and catharsis of cooking; I love nothing more than creating a meal from scratch, sans recipe, and having it turn out even better than expected in the end - My collection of records. Few things are more tactile and satisfying at the end of a long day than choosing the perfect record for your mood, placing it on the turntable, and hearing those first familiar notes. Pure bliss. - Bird watching. Yes, really. Hear me out. A hummingbird feeder on the back porch is peaceful right up until the birds commence what can only be described as Star Trek-worthy aerial combat, complete with tiny fi
